What brings you in
Anxiety & Overthinking
Your mind rarely slows down, replaying conversations, rehearsing what-ifs, bracing for what could go wrong.
Anxiety isn't always panic. Often it's a quiet, constant hum: tension in your shoulders, a mind that won't stop scanning, rest that never quite feels like rest. You may look calm and capable to everyone around you while privately managing a steady stream of worry.
Many of the women I work with have lived this way for so long it feels like personality rather than a pattern. It isn't. Anxiety is a nervous system doing its best to protect you. In therapy, we get curious about what it's protecting you from.
You might notice
- Racing thoughts, especially at night
- Replaying conversations and second-guessing yourself
- Tension, restlessness, or trouble sleeping
- Difficulty being present, even in good moments
- A sense that you can never fully relax or let your guard down
- Worry that feels out of proportion, but impossible to switch off
How therapy helps
Together we slow down the cycle beneath the worry, understand what drives it, and build practical tools for calming your body, quieting self-criticism, and responding to fear with more steadiness and self-compassion.
